Biometric residence permit
A residence permit is issued to third-country nationals who have been granted temporary or permanent stay or long-term residence. A 30x35 mm photo has to be enclosed to the biometric residence permit application.
A valid travel document has to be presented. An officer receiving the residence permit application has to verify the applicant’s identity.
A biometric residence permit costs 31,85 EUR in the regular procedure, or 59,73 EUR in accelerated procedure.
An administrative fee in the amount of 9,29 EUR is also to be paid (unless you are a third-country national on permanent stay or long-term residence) to the state budget IBAN account or in revenue stamps.
31,85 EUR or 59,73 EUR (in accelerated procedure) are to be paid to the state budget IBAN account at the post office/FINA/bank.
This amount can only be paid with a payment slip obtained at a police administration/police station, as those payment slips contain serial control numbers.
Applicants will be given a receipt by the authorised officer confirming that the application has been made. Aliens collect their residence permits in person at the police administration/police station in which they applied.
NOTE:
The residence permit fee in the amount of 31,85 EUR or 59,73 EUR (in accelerated procedure) may also be paid via internet banking, to the state budget account, IBAN HR1210010051863000160, model HR65, reference number: 7005-485-OIB (personal identification number (OIB) of a person who is to be issued a residence permit).
Aliens who have not been assigned an OIB will have to enter the following reference number: 7005-485-RKP-file number.
The administrative fee for the production of a biometric residence permit in the amount of 9,29 EUR may also be paid via internet banking, to the state budget account, IBAN HR1210010051863000160, model HR64, reference number: 5002-713-OIB.
Aliens who have not been assigned an OIB will have to enter the following reference number: 5002-713- the number of their valid travel document/identity card.
