Special biometric passport for aliens

A special travel document for a third-country national may be issued to a third-country national who has been granted subsidiary protection in the Republic of Croatia in line with the legislation governing international protection and who, through no fault of his own, is not able to obtain a foreign travel document.

Exceptionally, a travel document may also be issued to a third-country national who has been granted temporary stay, long-term residence, or permanent stay and whose foreign travel document has expired, for the purpose of visiting a diplomatic mission or a consular post abroad and obtaining a new foreign travel document, or who has lost his third-country citizenship on the basis of an issued guarantee granting admission to Croatian citizenship.

A special biometric passport for a third-country national costs HRK 320 plus the administrative fee in the amount of HRK 35.

The administrative fee in the amount of HRK 105 is paid for the issuance of a special biometric travel document for a third-country national which is to replace a damaged or lost one.

NOTE:
The fee in the amount of HRK 320 for a special passport for a third-country national may also be paid via internet banking, to the state budget account, IBAN HR1210010051863000160, model HR65, reference number: 7005-477-OIB (personal identification number (OIB) of an alien who the fee is being paid for).

Aliens who have not been assigned an OIB will have to enter the following reference number: 7005-477-RKP- file number.
