Press room

A press room for the duration of International Donors' Conference on humanitarian demining in Ukraine has been set up in the The Westin Hotel, the hall Zrinjevac.
Media representatives are welcomed to follow the International Donors' Conference on humanitarian demining in Ukraine from the Crystal hall, where the conference will be held.

Access

We recommend that all attendees use public transport.
 
The hotel/press room has tram connections (lines 2, 4 and 9) departing from the main railway station. The closest tram stop is ‘Westin'. Tickets for public transport can be purchased at a news stand or on board from the driver. Information on the timetables can be found at Zet.hr.

Parking

Parking is not allowed on the premises around the Westin Hotel. You can park in neighbouring streets. Parking tickets can be purchased at parking machines, at the outlets iNovine and Tisak, or by paying through the ZgPark app or sending an SMS (only from Croatian mobile numbers).

 
Media Entrance

Media representatives can enter The Westin Hotel at the main entrance. Right behind the security check in the entrance area, you will find the accreditation desk. The press room Zrinjevac is nearby as well.


Equipment

There are no personal computers for public use in the press room. You are therefore requested to bring and use your own laptops and associated equipment.
The press room offers the following equipment:

  • desks and chairs
  • 220V power supply
  • Wi-Fi (passwords will be provided at the venue)
  • Smart screen TV
  • Photos will be published at Flickr mup_rh


Please Note

During the International Donors' Conference on humanitarian demining in Ukraine, video recordings, audio recordings and photos featuring attendees may be taken.
Event organisers are unable to reserve workstations for media representatives.
Taking photos or making recordings of confidential documents or other property belonging to attendees (including with mobile phones) is strictly forbidden. Under no circumstances are security staff to be filmed or photographed.

A cafeteria and catering area are located at the ground floor same as the press room Zrinjevac and Crystal hall.
